2.00pm Dirty Dabble - 1km run, 4km ride, 1km run

Age categories – 10 & U, 11-14, 15-19, Open.

Min age 6. Ages as of the day.

Teams Category - Prizes for Mixed Teams only

2.45pm Downright Dirty - 4km run, 22.5km ride, 2km run

Age categories – 14-19, Open (first three placegetters, all others default to age category), 20-29, 30-44, 45-59, 60+.

Minimum age 14yrs (12yrs for team members). Ages as of the day.

Teams Category - Prizes for Mixed Teams only

3.05pm Double Trouble – 2km run, 7.5km ride, 2km run

Age categories – U/14, 15-19, Open (first three placegetters only, all others default to age category), 20-29, 30-44, 45-59, 60+.

Minimum age 10yrs (9yrs for team members). Ages as of the day.

Teams Category - Prizes for Mixed Teams only

The course consists predominantly of flat dirt trails, some potentially muddy sections and a small section of blue metal gravel rocks (approx 250m in length) and bike selection is left to the discretion of the competitors. No e-bikes are permitted. It is possible to use any type of gravel bike, mountain bike, BMX and cruiser bikes (albeit more challenging), cyclocross bikes, hybrid bikes... we want to be as inclusive as possible!

• Age categories for the event are as indicated for each distance. Ages as of the event day.

• Competitors will need to be registered with Triathlon Australia or purchase a day licence for insurance (available as part of registration process)

• There will also be an OPEN category for everyone ABOVE the correct age for all distances so you can start small!

• Competitors who register for 3 Flirt Run events receive a 7.5% discount; register for all 4 events (3 run events + duathlon) and receive 10% discount!

As with all Flirt events; the focus is on fun but racing is fun too and an important skill to develop so we will be presenting prizes to the first three overall in each distance and awarding small prizes to our age category winners (only). We will present a prize to the winning MIXED team whilst the results will show the following age categories:

• Dabble: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, Open (first three overall), Male, Mixed & Female Team

• Double Trouble: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Open (first three overall), Male, Mixed & Female Team

• Downright Dirty: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Open (first three overall) Male, Mixed & Female Team

We will have small wave starts for each event to keep group sizes down so we don’t startle the nearby kangaroos!

The Park is still open to other users and we ask that you respect those who are also enjoying the facility. Have a good ride & run, have some fun but please at all times, take care of this amazing natural resource as well as the plants, trees and creatures that call it home!

There will be designated parking for the event to the west of the start area, please utilise this space and DO NOT park directly behind the airfield.

There will be NO water available on the course proper. There will be an aid station at the start/finish area for use pre and post event. Participants should carry their own bidons on the bike. Runners are encouraged to carry their own hydration and nutrition if they feel like they would require further needs out on the course.

Back up the next day with our first round of the Flirt with Dirt Run Series for 2024 on Sunday afternoon!
